Kevin Lanning first joined Michigan Lightning as a coach in 2018 and has since held roles as Lightning Developmental Academy Director, RSC Recreation Director, and is currently leading the organization as RSC's General Manager and Director of Operations. Prior to that, Kevin served as the Toledo Football Academy Director of Development & Programs, Ohio North ODP Staff Coach, and Lake High School Girls Head Coach. In his youth, Kevin played for the Michigan Wolves and Pacesetter Soccer Club before playing for the University of Findlay where he was named to the All-GLIAC Academic Team. His coaching education includes the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Futsal Diploma, and CPR/AED Certification.
